Edge devices are essential to access local data in industrial production environments anytime and from everywhere. They are the components that establish the connection from the LAN system to external networks. In combination with gateway functionalities, they enable secure data exchange, control access rights, and distribute data.
Right next to the facility
We design IoT edge devices for use directly on the machine or system, regardless of where it is located. By integrating our own SIM cards, communication can be established independently from the existing network structure.
You have full control over your data
Our IoT edge devices are based on standard components and open source. There is no lock-in, and you can also make your own developments if necessary.
Fail-safe operation and redundancy
Each system can be equipped with two redundant IoT edge devices or with one device and a supplementary “emergency box.” In the event of failure, the second device takes over seamlessly and ensures data exchange.
Full control over data and access
All data connections and accesses are logged. Only authenticated user, e.g., technicians undertaking remote service, are allowed to connect to the IoT Edge Devices.
Your data, your cloud
Our IoT edge devices work with standards and are therefore compatible with different systems. However, we prefer the connection to a private cloud. This ensures that unauthorised third parties never have access to the data.
